L'alba del Drago: Dawn of the Dragon

Hey guys and gals, BBB here with another new role play that I think you all will enjoy. This time around, it's a tale of mythological proportions as the once great dragons are forced into hiding from a human war. Powerful beasts, a continent in conflict, a maniacal cult and the fate of the world are at stake as the dragons prepare to reconnect with the humans they used to hold dear in one way or another. Meanwhile, a group of devout followers to "The Leviathan" plot to claim the world of Alona as their own through any means necessary. Even if it means razing each nation to the ground to do so.

Now for the only hitch. This is one of my more massive ideas and as such, it's not entirely finished. I'll put what I have for the story below but rest assured, there will be more to come. And even though this is a work in progress, I am taking reservations, questions and character ideas as they arrive so feel free to bug me at your convenience. I'll try to get back to you as quickly as possible!

Alona; The Dragonlands

The continent of Alona is home to some of the most powerful beasts known to human kind. Dragons. These beasts are wise, intelligent and strong in all aspects. As such, they are natural born leaders and the humans, even the kings and queens, look to them in high regard. Or rather, they did. For several centuries, dragons have hidden themselves away from humans and their war mongering ways. They were frightened, frightened by the human's apparent "need" for more powerful weapons and more land. Frightened, because they knew what came after power. Rebellion and slaughter. Believing themselves to be above such strife and conflict, the dragons took several families that they could communicate with and who they thought would best maintain the notion of "peace" the dragons advocated, they fled to the far reaches of their lands. Now, as another generation of dragons and their loyal listeners prepares to take up the mantle, a cult rises to claim Alona as their own, stating that at the end of this age, The Leviathan will come and wipe all dragons and men from the face of the Dragonlands. Seven heroes, one from each country, must take up arms alongside their land's draconic royalty to stop the Leviathan fanatics whether the threat of an "End Bringing Dragon Lord" is real or not.

"I saw the traveler make his way toward the monolith,
That thin gash amidst the clouds;
An open seam between heaven and earth that eluded the Eye of God.

Or perhaps it had not; perhaps it beckoned from one realm
To the other, wedded And ruled as one;
For look how clean it splits the horizon 'twain, absorbs it,
Makes it Strange,
An indomitable beam,
A Tower of Heaven."
